Yup, I'm still....

...alive, just busy with work. Plans for next week include rock climbing so hopefully I'll have some pictures up. And maybe some pictures from white water rafting which should be coming up soon as well. Oh yeah, and my upcoming trips to Shanghai. :)

I've got ugly curtains...

...in my master bedroom. As part of the contract with my the landlord I get curtains installed in all the rooms. When the owners asked what color I said it didn't matter as long as it match the apartment and looked decent and respectable. My only other request was to have black-out curtains in the master bedroom in case I have to sleep during the day after a long night of partying (or work).

A week later I have curtains. As you can see from the picture below they went with a very simple and elegant pattern for the entire house which I am happy with.

However, for my master bedroom they went with another choice. I don't know what the curtain designer was smoking or drinking when they chose this color but it's by far the ugliest set of curtains I've ever spied upon in my entire life. wtf. You can see them here.

It's been a while...

...but I've been real busy now that work has kicked up again. No real adventures to speak of since my last post except for that long walk home from East Gate Market and going out to hooters in Kangnam... speaking of Kangnam, that's where all the snowboarding shops are and I've gone ahead and purchased a new snowboard. It's the 5150 Covert, pictured below, it's an all mountain board at 155 cm and it's totally sweet. I can't wait to go boarding this winter. Only six months left.
